This conference will focus on a pluridisciplinar research domain, combining
Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, microelectronics, microfluidics and biology, namely BioMEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems for the Biology). Such approach provides very innovative tools for the biomedical applications, having the capability to handle and monitor single molecules, proteins or single cells Besides, as Professor Fujita was the promoter of an international unit between the University of Tokyo and the CNRS (LIMMS laboratory in Tokyo), he will describe how research projects can be successfully conducted in the framework of international collaborations.
