(Bio)photonic imagery

Several microscopies and lasers are available on the imaging platform. Our main goal is the development of instrumentation to decipher molecular behaviors in chemical, photochemical and biological contexts :

  • Structurals (spatial and orientational)
  • Functionals (probes, biological receptors, protein-protein interactions...)
  • Dynamic (rotational and translational diffusion, molecular reactions, cellular dynamic, intracellular trafficking)

We are also interested in physical behavior of nanoobjects such as the emission of fluorescence and the optical properties of linearity and of non-linearity.

    Studied samples:

    • Organic : Unique molecule, macromolecules, nanocrystals, single molecular layer

    • Inorganic : Plasmonic in metals, nanocrystals, nanomaterials

    • Biologic : from the isolated biomolecule (protein, RNA, DNA,...) to the cell (fixed or alive)
